condivido qui questo interessante tributo alla memoria del giurista australiano Michael Hourigan (tributo che è, nello stesso tempo, un interessante contributo sulla genesi del genocidio del Ruanda). Ecco il

confused. My tribute to Michael is missing from my page. What happened?? And I
cherish all the wonderful things you all said about him and to me. I'm
reposting it here--please pardon me--along with video about his last testimony
given to a French journalist about the UN and the Rwanda genocide--the truth
about which he wanted the world to know!

Hourigan was my friend and advisor. I was shocked to learn of his sudden death
at the end of 2013. I feel lost and empty without his reassuring guidance and
counsel. Like Splitting the Sky, Michael was a truth warrior. He knew that the
U.S. and Paul Kagame now President of Rwanda, were responsible for a terror
attack that killed two democratically elected African Presidents and began what
the world now knows as the Rwandan Genocide. It was U.S.-inspired regime
change, not everything else you might have heard in books and films. Michael,
on the U.N. investigating team, was told to stand down when the trail got hot
tracing investigators back to the Pentagon. Michael quit instead and came to
work with me so that we could get the truth out. The U.N. Carlsson Commission
was created that tracked some of the guilt back to Kofi Annan--who was
subsequently promoted. In fact, everyone who participated got promoted--from
Canada's Louise Arbour, to the U.S.'s Madeleine Albright and Dr. Susan Rice.
Boutros-Ghali, UN Secretary General at the time, got sacked because he was
actually investigating the truth. Gilbert Rocheteau, from Cameroun, is now
writing a book about his harrowing flight from Tripoli while President Obama's
bombs were flying and U.S. paid mercenaries were killing dark-skinned Africans.
RIP Michael. I miss you.
